Vice-Chancellor Message

It is a matter of honor and immense pleasure that destiny has given me an opportunity to lead The University of Buner.

The higher education scenario globally has witnessed a major change in approach and remarkable growth. Higher education in Pakistan too, has readily adapted to the global demands and every institution has geared up to meet the global challenges by adapting the latest technologies in education.  The move towards interdisciplinary studies, research based and interactive learning with technology integration have opened up several options as well as created multiple challenges. Pakistan is at a juncture where a huge population of young men and women are deciding for higher education. The major focus is on creating an enhanced and vibrant platform for quality in knowledge enhancement and minimized the gap between academia and industry with an objective to build up main competence in students integrating knowledge with skills on the foundation of ethics and values.

A strong follower and practitioner of the statement “Knowledge is Power”, The University of Buner has been on the path of delivering quality education by developing the youth resources with ethical and moral values, while improving their leadership qualities, research culture, and innovative skills.

I strongly believe The University of Buner is going in the right direction, providing holistic education to the future generation and playing a positive role in nation-building.

I would like to conclude, “The higher education is that which does not only give us information but makes our life in harmony with our existence.”

The University of Buner is a recognized and chartered Government University of Khyber PakhtunKhwa. The University is registered with Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. The University of Buner is a chartered university and included in the list of public sector universities under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa universities Act-2012 (Amendment Act-2016)
